In 1902, my grandfather, Santo Formica, and his two brothers came to this country to start a bakery in Atlantic City. The same family bread recipe they brought from Italy is used today to make our Italian sub rolls. I'm sure my Grandfather would be proud to know that the Formica bread continues to be enjoyed today as it was over 100 years ago.
