In 1954, our original store, a small sandwich shop, opened in Audubon, NJ.  The menu consisted of steak sandwiches to penny candy.  In 1965, we moved to Ocean City and opened Del’s on the boardwalk, in the location we occupy today.

While the surfers at the time were hanging 10 on long boards by Dewey Weber and Greg Noll, Del’s was serving famous steak sandwiches, burgers and much more.

Today, as time may have it, surfers are still riding those long classic boards, along with other new shapes and so are we.  Our classic steaks & burgers are still the traditional favorites of families, however, the addition of our homemade crab cakes, fresh seafood platters and other new items to our menu are destined to become classic favorites for years to come.

So we invite you to continue the tradition with us at Del’s, where classic food and service is not an option, it’s what our family has been doing since 1965.
